As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you’re an expert in technical presales & customer onboarding, comfortable working with technical products, constantly learning new skills, working with networking experts on a variety of platforms, and building great relationships with customers. In this role, you are responsible for the technical journey the customer goes on from first meeting until production roll out - building technical champions, qualifying the best solution fit and value, demonstrating capabilities, enabling customers, crafting responses to technical objections and helping customers get set up.

The Role
- Partner with account executives & Customer Success to discover and qualify solutions that lead to strong return on investment for your customers.
- Be hands-on, high-energy, and passionate about solving problems by applying the Twingate platform.
- Develop custom demonstrations & content to enable our growing community of customers.
- Lead deep-dive technical sessions with customer technical stakeholders on Twingate product and solutions.
- Scope, communicate, and manage proof-of-concepts (POC) of solutions with customers.
- Facilitate the rollout of Twingate for your customers.
- Present to all levels of technical leadership with confidence and building trust with developers, enterprise architects, managers, and executives.
- Develop reusable tools, content, and provide product feedback - demos, product gaps, technical guides, documentation, etc.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (i.e. sales engineer, presales, solutions engineer, solution architect, etc.)
- Practical experience with MEDDIC or MEDDPICC.
- Experience working with upper mid-market & enterprise customers across industries.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills to audiences of all levels of technical, business, and organization responsibility.
- Proficient running product demonstrations.
- Comfortable scripting in at least one language i.e. Python, bash, PowerShell.
- Comfortable using APIs such as Rest or GraphQL.
- Have a practical knowledge of network technologies & protocols -familiar with TCP, DNS, etc.
- Comfortable with cloud infrastructure & cloud provider technologies -Docker, K8s, etc.
- Familiarity with the ZTNA / ZTA market (and adjacencies such as Internet Security, DNS filtering, DLP, CASB, PAM, etc.) is not required but preferred.
- Comfortable with homelab technologies (Proxmox, NAS, Home Assistant, etc.)
