About the Role

We are seeking a Director, Client Success & Accounting Workflows to support strategic clients, optimize client-facing workflows, and build out our customer success strategy.

This role is focused on both client success and operational excellence — you will manage key workflows end-to-end, engage directly with clients to ensure adoption and value realization, and partner cross-functionally to improve processes and influence product decisions.

We’ll Count on You To

Technical Accounting Excellence

  • Partner with clients to help them maximize value from the platform
  • Own and manage complex accounting workflows for strategic clients using the Auxilius platform
  • Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and aligned with GAAP and client expectations
  • Provide consultative guidance on accounting, FP&A, and financial operations
  • Solve complex technical accounting problems and escalate issues thoughtfully

Build Auxilius’ Customer Success & Relationship Management Stragegy (Functional / Secondary Focus)

  • Design and own the end-to-end customer success strategy across the client lifecycle, from onboarding through renewal and expansion, ensuring customers realize measurable operational and trial outcomes from Auxilius’ platform and services.
  • Define success frameworks, health metrics, and engagement models that translate Auxilius’ data, context, and methodologies into clear value narratives, standardized playbooks, and proactive intervention signals.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Ops, Sales, and Data to surface customer insights, influence roadmap prioritization, and continuously improve how we deliver clarity and impact at scale.

Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Build the operating infrastructure for customer success including team structure, tooling, workflows, and feedback loops that support retention, expansion, and long-term customer trust in a regulated, high-stakes environment.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize workflows and drive operational efficiency

Skills and Qualifications

Required

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in life sciences / biotech accounting, especially familiarity with clinical trial management
  • CPA and/or public accounting experience required
  • 4+ years of relevant technical accounting experience
  • Experience with complex client accounting workflows and financial operations
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and working directly with clients
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and business judgment skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Start-up experience or high-growth environment

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Customer Success, onboarding, or adoption processes
  • Experience with financial systems or SaaS platforms

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6–12 months, clients rely on you as their trusted accounting partner. They’re using Auxilius workflows confidently, adoption is high, and issues are minimal. Technical accounting data is accurate, complete, and feeds seamlessly into client budgets and reports. Processes are documented, repeatable, and scalable, reducing manual effort across the team. You’re actively partnering with Product and Ops, turning client feedback into actionable improvements and roadmap input.
