About the role
👔 Title: Customer Success Manager
✅ Salary: $100,000 + $120,000 OTE + Competitive Equity Package

📍 Brooklyn, NY: You’ll work in our beautiful office building in front of Domino Park, facing the East River.

What does the role look like?
You’ll be joining Whop as the first Customer Success Manager. As a Customer Success Manager at Whop, you will be responsible for retaining our largest creators while giving them a world class experience. You will also be the internal advocate within Whop for your creators and partner with Account Management, Product, Marketing, and other teams to ensure the business is utilizing the valuable feedback you receive each and every day.
CSM’s have 150 accounts to manage, with regular touch points to ensure that creators are having the best experience possible. You will be judged on creator retention rate and NPS score from your creators. Success in this role results in a 100% creator retention rate and an NPS score of 9.5 or higher.
Your first 90 days will look like the following:
- Within 30 days, you will understand Whop’s product, be introduced to your book of business, and start retaining creators.
- Within 60 days, you will have mastered the product and funneled countless enhancements to our product team.
- Within 90 days, you will have developed real rapport with your creators.

- A high performer with previous experience in a client facing role
- You have a passion for our mission at Whop. You live and breathe creators and will work relentlessly to help them earn a sustainable income on our platform.
- You are scrappy and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- You want to grind and get your hands dirty.
- You are highly resourceful and an operator who can produce results in a highly ambiguous environment
- You have high emotional intelligence and do not get fazed by working under pressure
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of prior experience working in a client facing role as a Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, or similar function
- Prior experience working in the Creator Economy is required
- Experience working cross functionally, including working closely with product teams
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Have had your own business in our space or have bought products from Whop creators
- Experience with two-sided platforms and marketplace dynamics
