About the role

Title: Growth Ops Associate

✅ Salary: $130,000 - $160,000, and a competitive equity package

📍 Brooklyn, NY: You’ll work in our beautiful office building in front of Domino Park, facing the East River.

You’ll be joining Whop as an Growth Ops Associate, directly supporting our Chief Growth Officer, who oversees Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional balance of analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with an acute desire to build in a fast-paced / ambiguous start-up environment and drive operational improvements.

Your first 90 days will look like the following:

  • Within 30 days, you will understand our go-to-market roadmap, growth initiatives, internal processes, and will have coordinated with the Chief Growth Officer on a communication and organizational framework
  • Within 60 days, you will have taken ownership of key growth initiatives, collaborating cross functionally with other growth team heads, and have established a sales ops process roadmap that aligns with the needs and preferences of the Growth team.
  • Within 90 days, you will have become a fully trusted executor for the Chief Growth Officer and Growth department as a whole, taking a proactive approach to tackling areas of improvement or processization, anticipating needs, and providing support to gain the best outcomes possible.

  • Ability to understand the Chief Growth Officer’s mindset and Growth team’s core objective, acting as an extension of their thought process
  • Proven experience in strategic sales or operational role, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented start-up environment.
  • A strong work ethic, professionalism, integrity, trustworthiness, commitment, and business maturity.

What you will be doing

  • Manage communication and correspondence in a professional, timely, and efficient manager, acting as the primary point of contact for our Chief Growth Officer.
  • Analyze data and research, go-to-market strategies, pricing structures, compensation and incentive plans, sales processes, and customer and marketing data.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of growth team strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as right-hand to Chief Growth Officer in evaluating, prioritizing and tracking go-to-market initiatives.
  • Conduct independent research and compile data to support decision-making processes.
  • Drive sales process enhancements and implement data-driven decisioning frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in management consulting, sales operations, or similar role, preferably at a start-up or within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to synthesize complex data sets and information into actionable insights and process enhancements.
  • Strategic thinking skills, with a track record of proactively finding solutions to ambiguous and/or complex problems.
  • Previous involvement in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Executives from Sales, Customer Support and Marketing teams.
