About Verse Medical
We’re building the software infrastructure that enables hospital-quality care, at home. As healthcare costs have increased, the patient’s home has become incredibly important as a site of care.
Yet, patients recovering at home are highly underserved. Patients can only get better at home if they receive the high-quality care that they need reliably. The existing in-home care process involves a patchwork of different vendors, all connected through faxes and phone calls. We’re building modern, robust software that solves this challenge. We currently operate across 49 states with most of the largest health systems in the US.
We’re backed by some of the best investors in technology and healthcare and have ambitious expansion plans. It’s a particularly exciting time to join the company as we’re aggressively expanding the team.
We are a relatively new product team with a fast-growing engineering team, offering significant flexibility in how this role can evolve. This will be an IC role focused on design execution.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from end-to-end: from understanding the background, defining goals, initiating user research, prototyping, engineering handoff and outcome tracking
  • Promote a human-centered approach to solving problems with cross-functional roles
  • Develop and enrich the design system across the platform and ensure consistency
  • Bring clarity to the product vision by translating business needs and product ideas into tangible UI/UX solutions and product direction

What we are looking for:

  • Proficiency in Figma (including Auto Layout and component-based design systems).
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and usability best practices.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for design feasibility considerations.
  • Familiarity with optimizing designs for engineering handoff and implementation.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Basic understanding of accessibility guidelines.
  • **Must submit a design portfolio for review.
