About TestBox

TestBox was founded with a bold mission: to fundamentally transform how software is bought and sold. We’re building an innovative platform that empowers buyers with transparent, interactive software experiences, while equipping sellers with powerful tools to deliver exceptional buying and onboarding journeys. Our core technologies - synthetic data, intelligent orchestration, and our unique product graph - help teams achieve faster implementations, clearer insights, and increase trust with their customers.

At TestBox, we're not just improving demos; we're building the next generation infrastructure for software transactions, creating seamless experiences from initial interest to successful onboarding and beyond.

We're a fast-growing startup built by a team that values experimentation, velocity, and customer impact. We’re backed by world-class investors and are building a platform that’s disrupting the traditional B2B sales motion.

Role Overview

We are hiring our first Staff Technical Program Manager in what is a pivotal role for the company as we build out this function. As a fast-growing organization, we face the dual challenge of accelerating a strategic platform re-architecture while bringing much-needed stability and predictability to our customer delivery engine. Your mission is to solve this by building and running the operational framework for our entire engineering organization.

You will be a key strategic partner to leadership, responsible for designing and implementing the processes that enable our teams to succeed at scale. You won’t just manage programs; you will design the blueprint for how we plan, execute, and deliver software. You will bring order, clarity, and velocity to the entire engineering department.

This is a builder role in the truest sense. You will define what world-class program management looks like at TestBox and create the foundation for how we operate as a high-performing engineering organization.

What You’ll Do

Program Portfolio Management & Strategic Delivery

  • Own and drive the master roadmap for the entire engineering portfolio, including the new platform build, ongoing customer projects, and internal infrastructure initiatives.
  • Lead resource planning and allocation across all teams, proactively identifying and resolving conflicts to ensure strategic priorities are met.
  • Manage dependencies between all engineering teams (Platform, Customer Delivery, DevOps/Infra) and other functions like Product and GTM.

Build the Engineering Delivery Framework

  • Design, implement, and own TestBox's end-to-end software delivery lifecycle (SDLC), from quarterly planning to release management.
  • Diagnose and resolve systemic bottlenecks in our development lifecycle, continuously evolving our workflows for greater efficiency as we scale.
  • Implement and optimize the tools and processes that support our delivery framework, ensuring they provide clarity and support our teams, rather than creating overhead.

Strategic Leadership & Communication

  • Serve as the central point of communication for all major engineering programs, ensuring stakeholders from the CEO down have a clear and accurate understanding of progress, risks, and timelines.
  • Serve as a key strategic advisor to engineering leadership and the executive team on matters of execution, risk, and resource planning.
  • Foster a culture of clear communication and 'no surprises,' ensuring risks are flagged early and managed proactively.

Who You Are

  • You are a 'first principles' thinker who can diagnose root-cause organizational issues, not just surface-level project risks.
  • You bring structure, clarity, and a steady leadership to complex and ambiguous situations.
  • You excel at leading through influence and building consensus among teams with differing priorities.
  • You are an exceptional communicator, equally comfortable facilitating a technical deep-dive and presenting in a business review.
  • You are energized by the challenge of bringing clarity to complexity and building scalable systems from the ground up.

Preferred Experience

  • Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in Technical Program Management or a related role, with a demonstrated track record of managing programs of increasing scope and complexity.
  • Direct experience as the first TPM or a founding member of a program management function at a high-growth startup is highly desirable.
  • Deep technical fluency is required. You must be comfortable leading discussions on architecture, understanding complex system dependencies, and earning the trust of a highly technical team.
  • Experience leveraging modern project management tools effectively to support various delivery methodologies and provide organizational clarity.
  • Bonus: Experience in a company that builds a B2B SaaS platform for technical users.
  • Bonus: Experience working with teams focused on cloud infrastructure (AWS), DevOps, and platform engineering.
