Mechanical Engineers (Automotive and Aerospace): Paid Study on Change Workflows
Other Engineering
United States
USD 100-100 / hour
What We're Researching
We're hiring Mechanical Engineering SMEs to help us evaluate standard engineering change workflows. This paid study focuses on how complex CAD models are managed and updated within professional automotive and aerospace environments. Your input will feed directly into improving tools for managing engineering documentation and version control.
How It Works
You will participate in a remote session to walk us through your typical engineering change processes. During the study, you will deliver realistic CAD models using tools like SolidWorks or FreeCAD. You will then document the steps required to implement and approve a design change within those models. Finally, you will answer a series of questions about the friction points in your current workflow.
Who This Is For
We welcome mechanical engineers with professional design experience in the automotive or aerospace sectors. Ideal candidates have hands-on expertise with industry-standard CAD software, including SolidWorks and FreeCAD. We are specifically looking for professionals who actively manage engineering change documentation as part of their day-to-day role.
