About The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity in a high-growth, high-potential startup. You will work with a team of dynamic post-sales individuals and customers who take pride in solving complex problems. Engagement Managers (EMs) drive successful implementation services and customer satisfaction within a portfolio of accounts. The EM is in charge of successfully launching a Prophecy solution by managing all aspects of the project, including timely deliverables. The goal of the EM is to ensure that the value outlined in the purchase process is achieved, documented, and communicated throughout the engagement.

Additionally, EMs are responsible for understanding a customer's desired goals, current state, and business objectives while working with Prophecy enterprise architects to craft a solution that meets the customer’s needs. To accomplish their responsibilities, the EM will work cross-functionally with our customer success, sales, pre-sales engineers, support, product management, and engineering departments. Additionally, the EM is the customer advisor and project manager for Prophecy implementations and service deployments, providing best practices and coordinating Prophecy resources.

In addition, you will:

  • Be the advisor and first point of contact throughout Prophecy deployments to ensure the customer gets to business value as quickly as possible.
  • Manage overall project lifecycle, including project schedule deliverables, timelines, and aligned outcomes.
  • Build relationships and champions with the customer, manage key stakeholders, and drive escalations internally and with the customer.
  • Internally coordinate between sales, engineering, product, leadership, and support to identify and resolve customer issues.
  • Help build best practices resources for delivering Prophecy and share them amongst team members and customers.
  • Onboard and train customers and end-users on how to use Prophecy
  • Look out for the customer's best interests and advocate internally for their needs.

Requirements

  • Project Management and consulting experience. PMP certification is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Prophecy, Mattillion, Informatica, Abinitio, Alteryx or similar
  • Must be based in the MST or PST timezone to be considered
  • Extensive customer-facing experience and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to define and drive tactical implementation and management of a project
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with a high degree of technical curiosityAbility to manage multiple projects and communicate progress against milestones clearly in a constantly
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
