Position Summary
This is an amazing opportunity to be an early contributor to a high-growth, high-potential startup starting in Prophecy’s India engineering center. You will be working with a team of dynamic engineers who take pride in solving complex problems.
We are looking for a skilled talent acquisition specialist to help us source, identify, screen, and hire candidates for various roles in the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, two or three years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.
Role and Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process: Source, scout, screen, and recruit the best talent.
- Have experience in talent acquisition with proven results in building a great team.
- Have the ability to set up the process to bring efficiency to the hiring process.
- Be a self-starter who thrives in a rapidly growing organization and establishes best practices.
- Design and execute short-term and long-term recruitment strategies to source passive candidates for tough-to-fill positions and creatively source for niche roles.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs.
- Drive negotiations with the candidates and help resolve their queries and concerns effectively.
- Any specific requests or modifications required by the candidates should be communicated to the Talent Manager proactively.
- Take ownership of the experience of all the candidates that you reach out to/connect with on behalf of Increasingly, including those who are not shortlisted.
- Experience working with a startup would be desirable.
- Success in creating and driving effective employee relations, retention, and reward programs
- 3 plus years of experience in a talent acquisition role
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
- Experience in using Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and flexibility – willing to work on a variety of projects and perform in multiple roles
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems
