TEAM
Join our industry leading and category creating Product Management team. We are shifting traditional thinking for product manufacturers, driving Propel’s innovative vision and leadership through product success in all phases of the development process. We are at the center of strategy and work closely with customers, partners and all other Propellerheads defining and executing our product roadmaps.
ROLE
Starting with the initial concept through production deployment and maintenance, the Senior Product Manager ensures new features and capabilities are easy to use and solve the business problem effectively. To be successful in this role you will be required to understand Propel’s product in detail, and the Product Value Management space, as well as a deep understanding and empathy for the challenges Propel’s customers face.
The Senior Product Manager owns a key area of Propel’s product that focuses on product cost, insights and analysis that drive customers’ own product roadmap strategies and decisions. In this role you will work with the various stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver customer experiences that will take the Propel platform to the next level and drive adoption and revenue.

In this role you can expect to:

  • Identify and define market requirements and business impact with the inputs of the market, customers and prospects; translate into product requirements for the engineering and QA teams.
  • Work with development team to balance product velocity and technical solutions/approaches
  • Stay abreast of market trends and immerse self in to client businesses and domains, understanding business problems and providing technical solutions
  • Work with QA and validation teams to facilitate test cases, present to customers and analysts, support CSM and partner teams, and collaborate with partners
  • Define the roadmap based on various internal and external stakeholder feedback
  • Ensure customer value creation and user adoption for enterprise solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, monitor market trends and engage with customers and key stakeholders on an ongoing basis, validating existing product requirements and evolve as needed
  • Leverage internal and external data like usability studies, research, market trends and competitive analysis into product requirement
  • Plan and coordinate with product marketing and marketing on product launch and follow-on releases
  • Coordinate and support field knowledge transfer and training
  • Bring passion for Propel’s industry leadership and how the market/industry evolves

MUST HAVE skills:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience at an enterprise SaaS organization (mid-stage startup and beyond
  • Demonstrated and successful professional experience with SaaS business models
  • Experience with designing actionable data insights and analytics for business users
  • Experience working with Salesforce (force.com), Tableau preferred
  • Experience in identifying MVP and building new products/ solutions in a cross functional environment.
  • Successfully synthesize broad product requirements into clear, concise plans.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS technologies, platforms and data management and analytics that allows you to have credible conversations with engineers about technical design tradeoffs
  • Agile development methodologies
