We are looking for a content writer, specializing in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) topics to work with our team on a contract basis.

About the Role:

We are looking for a content writer specializing in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) topics to work with our team on a contract basis.at Comparitech.

This is an ongoing contract, and the successful candidate should be able to commit to close to full-time hours. We are looking for a writer based either in the US or UK.

This person will develop content in the form of software reviews, "best of" style lists, news articles and email newsletters.

From the C-Suite of Fortune 500 companies through to consultancies and small businesses, our readers rely on Planet Compliance’s content, reports, and analyses to make informed decisions in the governance, risk and compliance space.

The successful content writer must be capable of producing engaging writing for a highly educated and specialized audience.

  • Develop commercial content focused on business regulations, compliance software applications, and industry insights.
  • Write news and community content that engages and informs Planet Compliance's diverse audience, including updates on industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Create engaging and informative newsletters that summarize key content and updates from the website and around the web.

Day to Day:

  • Collaborate with management to identify and develop relevant topics.
  • Produce high-quality, well-researched content that aligns with Planet Compliance's style and audience.
  • Ensure all content is factually accurate and complies with industry standards.
  • Update and refresh existing content as needed to maintain relevance and accuracy.
  • Engage with the community through news content and participate in relevant discussions.

What you bring to the table:

  • Proven experience and knowledge in business regulations, RegTech, compliance software, or related fields.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling content for a B2B audience, including Fortune 500 companies and major consultancies.
  • Strong research skills to stay updated with the latest trends and regulations in the industry.
  • Experience in writing newsletters and understanding of best practices in email marketing.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently on tight deadlines.
