THE ROLE
Pangaea is hiring an E-commerce Manager to join the Marketing team! The ideal candidate will be a customer focused self-starter who will manage the strategic positioning and tactical execution of our two brands’ websites. This person will have an analytical yet creative approach to driving e-commerce strategies and contributing to the growth of our overall business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage the visual merchandising strategy for all PDPs, PLPs, and landing pages
- Continuously identify new e-commerce sales opportunities to enhance customers’ shopping experience through site optimization.
- Utilize Shopify Plus and other tools to create digestible, custom reports for stakeholders based on site operations, performance and merchandising metrics; recommend and follow through on actionable improvements
- Collaborate and manage relationships with SEO agencies to maintain and execute site updates for optimal search engine optimization
- Partner with various internal departments such as Creative, Engineering, Operations and Customer Support to optimize the end-to-end product lifecycle on the sites.
- Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends and best practices and monitor competitors.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce
- Strong proficiency in Shopify Plus, marketing strategies, and SEO principles.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Ability to think innovatively, move quickly on new opportunities and embrace a start-up mentality
- Experience with and passion for the health, beauty, wellness and/or personal care space
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The reasonably estimated annual base salary for this role ranges from $80,000 - $90,000 and will include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and location. Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

- Health insurance: Pangaea offers medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. Out of three amazing medical plans, we cover 100% for the first plan for employees and 90% of the monthly premium for two higher coverage plans. We also provide 75% of the monthly premium for family coverage.
- 401(k) matching: After a 3-month waiting period, Pangaea will match up to 4% of the employee's elected contribution to their retirement plan.
- Time off: Pangaea recognizes 14 paid holidays per year. We also have 6 additional “Pangaea Fridays” throughout the year where employees can get a head start on their weekend and take the whole day off. Lastly, we have a flexible time off policy and trust our employees to take vacation when they need it!
- Staff discount: All staff members are given $100 of credit per month to use on Pangaea products so that they can try, own (and love!) all the products we sell.
