THE ROLE

Pangaea is hiring an E-commerce Manager to join the Marketing team! The ideal candidate will be a customer focused self-starter who will manage the strategic positioning and tactical execution of our two brands’ websites. This person will have an analytical yet creative approach to driving e-commerce strategies and contributing to the growth of our overall business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and manage the visual merchandising strategy for all PDPs, PLPs, and landing pages
  2. Continuously identify new e-commerce sales opportunities to enhance customers’ shopping experience through site optimization.
  3. Utilize Shopify Plus and other tools to create digestible, custom reports for stakeholders based on site operations, performance and merchandising metrics; recommend and follow through on actionable improvements
  4. Collaborate and manage relationships with SEO agencies to maintain and execute site updates for optimal search engine optimization
  5. Partner with various internal departments such as Creative, Engineering, Operations and Customer Support to optimize the end-to-end product lifecycle on the sites.
  6. Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends and best practices and monitor competitors.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce
  • Strong proficiency in Shopify Plus, marketing strategies, and SEO principles.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to think innovatively, move quickly on new opportunities and embrace a start-up mentality
  • Experience with and passion for the health, beauty, wellness and/or personal care space

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The reasonably estimated annual base salary for this role ranges from $80,000 - $90,000 and will include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and location. Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

  • Health insurance: Pangaea offers medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. Out of three amazing medical plans, we cover 100% for the first plan for employees and 90% of the monthly premium for two higher coverage plans. We also provide 75% of the monthly premium for family coverage.
  • 401(k) matching: After a 3-month waiting period, Pangaea will match up to 4% of the employee's elected contribution to their retirement plan.
  • Time off: Pangaea recognizes 14 paid holidays per year. We also have 6 additional “Pangaea Fridays” throughout the year where employees can get a head start on their weekend and take the whole day off. Lastly, we have a flexible time off policy and trust our employees to take vacation when they need it!
  • Staff discount: All staff members are given $100 of credit per month to use on Pangaea products so that they can try, own (and love!) all the products we sell.
