Newtrul is a VC-backed digital infrastructure solution that is revolutionizing the logistics and transportation industry by connecting manufacturers, freight brokers, and cargo carriers through our innovative two-sided marketplace. Our mission is to streamline the age-old process of booking freight by providing integrated solutions and a user-friendly web application.

We are experiencing rapid growth and are actively building API integrations with hundreds of logistics partners to enable our platform's success. As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Newtrul, you will be at the forefront of this transformation, playing a crucial role in optimizing speed, incorporating customer feedback, and leading architectural discussions. You'll be developing scalable UIs and APIs, ensuring the success of both our clients and our organization.

THE STACK:

React/Redux, Nodejs, Express, ELK, PHP, Typescript, AWS (ELBs, EC2, S3, SQS, EventBus, API Gateway, Lambda, Cloudwatch), PostgreSQL, Docker, Gitlab

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of full-stack web development experience using frameworks like Laravel, Express, Rails, Django, etc
• 6+ years of experience building or modifying RESTful APIs
• 6+ years of experience writing automated unit, integration, and browser tests
• 4+ years of experience working with and designing SQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to effectively work independently and with a team

Responsibilities:

• Develop highly efficient, clean, performant, and maintainable code
• Follow lightweight Agile development methodologies to build full-stack applications
• Design and evolve the architecture of our platform
• Provide analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting expertise
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigations
• Conduct code reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and scalability
• Assist in writing technical stories and support QA efforts to ensure features meet product specifications
