Public Relations Associate

Nanoport is growing its marketing team and looking for someone who loves immersing themselves in new technologies and innovative hardware. You will work with a small, cross-functional team with a high level of autonomy, along with our partners and influencers across the tech industry.

Success in this role will rely on effective storytelling, communication, relationship building and brand positioning. Passion for technology and keeping on top of the latest trends is a big plus. If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

Your mission, should you choose to apply will be to:

• Assist with strategic communications campaigns, including media relations, developer programs, digital and social content projects, and events
• Support content creation efforts, including whitepapers, blog posts, thought leadership, and website copy
• Work closely with our engineering and BD teams to develop materials for upcoming programs and launches
• Identify influencers and engagement opportunities across platforms
• Coordination, organization and supervision of media tours

You must have:

• BA/BS degree
• 1-2 years experience in a public relations firm
• Experience writing across digital formats: sales materials, whitepapers, blog posts, web copy, social, contributed content, and email newsletters etc
• Experience with influencer marketing and media event planning
• Experience working in startups, consumer technology, and/or the mobile industry
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, project and ever-changing priorities
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and writing
• A portfolio of your epic work

This is a contract role that will be working remotely with our team in Santa Clara, CA.
