The Senior Revenue Accounting role is critical to the monthly Lyric billing and revenue operations including ERP billing and revenue setup, invoice submission to customers for timely payment and accurate monthly revenue recognition.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

• Reviews and interprets customer contracts while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting
• Responsible for processing billing and revenue recognition tasks in the Netsuite ERP ensuring invoice accuracy and proper revenue treatment
• Completes all required month-end close activities including creation and posting of journal entry accruals and adjustments
• Prepares balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
• Supports accurate and timely invoicing processes including securing customer purchase orders and submission of invoices through various channels

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA is a plus
• 5 + years of Accounting experience
• 1 + year of experience in revenue accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint), with expertise in pivot tables, queries, importing and exporting data and the use of spreadsheets
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of billing and revenue management systems, NetSuite is a plus
• Ability to review and understand complex customer contracts with a strong understanding of revenue recognition in accordance to ASC 606
• Experience in monitoring changes and reconciling impacts to deferred, unbilled and accounts receivable

***Candidates must reside in a commutable distance from Atlanta, GA. The role is primarily work from home however there will be occasional commuting to a shared workspace in the Atlanta area that is required.***
