We build humanly impossible workflows by overlaying scalable & granular automation with proprietary algorithms and rich contextual data. The decisions are streamed in real time directly to airline systems. Current applications built on our platform allow airlines to offer every possible travel product through their network, providing travelers with more travel options in thousands routes around the world. And we are building more!

The Position
Location: Palo Alto, CA, US (Onsite)

As the Operations Manager, you’ll …
-> Be a strategic partner to the Executive Team providing high-level support and assistance in all areas of the business in an effort to make them more effective in their role.
-> Be providing administrative support to the Executive Team by managing calendars, office space, travel arrangements etc.
-> Partner in high level project planning, tracking and aligning responsibilities.
-> Facilitate effective internal and external communication by creating reports, drafting emails, talking to clients, vendors and stakeholders
-> Work with the Executive team to take on research in different aspects impacting business in various topics including but not limited to market trends, industry news and report your findings.
-> Seed and own the foundational aspects of the Human Resource and finance function, by partnering in the recruitment process, manage employee records, onboard/off-board employees, and manage budgets.
-> Manage vendor relationships, track contracts, procurement.
-> Identify strategic opportunities to improve efficiency, from strategic calendar management to designing systems for automating common tasks.

About you
You’ll thrive as the Operations Manager if you:

-> Thrive in roles that require excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
-> Possess the utmost discretion around confidential and sensitive information
-> Go with the flow as priorities change, maintaining little ego and ability to adapt
-> Move urgently with a high bias for action
-> Have extensive knowledge of Google Suite, Slack, Monday.com and Ramp
-> Bonus points if you’ve been in a Operations Manager role or similar role in a growing startup environment
-> Are able to commute to the Palo Alto, CA office daily.

Longtail Technologies is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in Palo Alto, California, the estimated base salary range for this role is $105,000 - $140,000 per year.
