We’re hiring our first Sales Development Representative, and we see this role as a builder, not just a seller.
You’ll be the bridge between our product and the developer and product teams who rely on billing infrastructure every day — often as the first human they’ll talk to at Lago. That means listening closely, asking sharp questions, and helping them connect the dots between their technical pain points and how Lago can help.
You’ll run outbound experiments, test different messaging angles, and learn what resonates with our technical audience. You’ll help us define what a modern, developer-first GTM motion looks like — not by guessing, but by doing, iterating, and growing with every conversation.

What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll be involved in generating outbound pipeline for our Account Executive team and may
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to design and run outbound prospecting campaigns and sequences to reach ICPs (Product, Engineering, Finance).
- Research accounts to map out pain points, decision-makers, and product context
- Utilize all prospecting channels to reach out to prospects (e.g., social media, events, press, Slack communities, etc.) in order to drive awareness and educate target customers on our products
- Collaborate closely with AEs to develop account strategies and ensure active nurturing of accounts and handoffs
- Share feedback from the field to help iterate on messaging, ICP definitions, and outreach strategy.
- Maintain high standards when logging and managing your outreach activity in internal tools like HubSpot
Who You Are
- Fluent in English.
- At least one similar experience generating pipeline for sales teams using a prospecting methodology, and the ambition to forge a path in a sales career
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar and outbound prospecting tools like Salesloft, lemlist, and Apollo.io
- Experience selling to technical personas (developers, product leaders, CTOs) is a huge advantage
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and networking skills
- Highly creative, resourceful, and adaptable, always looking for innovative ways to generate interest and engagement
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze campaign performance, suggest improvements, and optimize accordingly
