Your Mission
At Formant, we’re on a mission to build the autonomous future with humans at the center. Our cloud-based data and operations platform helps companies scale and manage fleets of robots in the real world. We serve a wide range of customers, from Fortune 100s to fast-growing startups. We’re venture-backed, scaling, and looking for an experienced Enterprise Sales Executive to join our leadership team.
As the Enterprise & Key Accounts Executive, you will take ownership over the highly strategic sales motions for Formant. In this very important role reporting to the Head of Sales and working closely with the President, you will help to create a roadmap and execute upon strategic go to market motions with a defined set of target accounts. This role will start as an individual contributor and, if successful, may have the opportunity to build a team.
In this role, you will:
- Formulate and execute on a strategy for growth in the enterprise market
- Actively seek out new strategic customer targets and build a funnel
- Effectively pitch our product and its value to potential customers
- Present the unique benefits our products bring to the market tailored to the needs of the customers with whom you are engaging
- Build relationships with key targets
- Strategic Account Mapping
- Bring enterprise deals from prospecting to close, quarterbacking resources internally as needed
- Maintain a deep understanding of the ecosystem and competitive landscape
Ideally, you:
- Have 10+ years of experience in a strategic or enterprise sales role
- Preferred experience in a Business Development role also
- Have proven success in developing and closing enterprise sized customers, and exceeding sales goals
- Have B2B SaaS experience with more complex technical product
- Have existing relationships in the commercial and industrial spaces, in such industries as agriculture, logistics & warehousing, facilities maintenance, energy, construction, mining, etc.
- Are a self starter and take initiativeAre a creative thinker and skilled at deal building
- Are an excellent communicator
