Lead Recruiter & Employee Experience Lead
Farsight Ai
As our Recruiter & Employee Experience Lead, you will own talent acquisition across Sales, Technical/Engineering/Product, and G&A functions — and you’ll simultaneously own the full post-hire employee experience lifecycle: onboarding, benefits, payroll, HR systems. You are the hands-on builder of our people operations infrastructure.
This is a doer-lead role: you’ll roll up your sleeves and execute as much as you strategise. You’ll build recruiting frameworks, sourcing pipelines, ATS/HRIS workflows — all in service of scaling Farsight’s team sustainably and with high quality.
As we go from ~30 people today and aim to more than double headcount next year, we’re building the people-function that supports rapid growth while preserving startup speed, high impact, and strong culture.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers (Sales, Engineering/Product, G&A) to define hiring needs, role profiles, headcount plans, and timelines.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies: direct sourcing, strategic networks, employee referrals, outreach campaigns.
Lead full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation and closing.
Represent our employer brand to high-caliber candidates — pitching our mission, culture, and growth story.
Build and maintain proactive pipelining for critical roles in advance of growth needs.
Own and continuously improve the post-hire employee experience: onboarding process, first-90-days check-ins, HRIS/ATS configurations, benefits administration, payroll coordination.
Select, implement, and manage HR/People systems (ATS, onboarding platforms, HRIS, payroll/benefits).
Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, funnel conversion, source effectiveness) and use data to optimize recruiting and processes.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices (US + New York state/local). Partner with external counsel when necessary.
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment — wear multiple hats, pivot quickly, and iterate rapidly.
