EvenUp is on a mission to close the justice gap using technology and AI. We empower personal injury lawyers and victims to get the justice they deserve. Our products enable law firms to secure faster settlements, higher payouts, and better outcomes for victims injured through no fault of their own in vehicle collisions, accidents, natural disasters, and more.

We are one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in history, and we are just getting started. EvenUp is backed by top VCs, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, SignalFire, and Lightspeed. We are looking to expand our team with talented, driven, and collaborative individuals who seek to have a lasting impact. Learn more at www.evenuplaw.com.

As a Senior Manager of Pre-Litigation Operations, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our local office and oversee a team of case managers responsible for driving pre-litigation personal injury cases through their critical early stages. Leveraging a suite of industry-leading AI tools and systems, you’ll ensure that every case is handled with precision, urgency, and care, while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.

This is an in-office leadership role for a deeply experienced professional who excels in high-volume, detail-driven environments and takes pride in developing others, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that every client’s experience reflects the firm’s highest standards.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Office Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of the local office, ensuring a professional, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of case managers to deliver exceptional accuracy, communication, and client service.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and case reviews to ensure performance standards, adherence to process, and timely resolution of cases.

  • Monitor workloads and case distribution to maintain balance and efficiency across the team.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the local office and firm leadership, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure all pre-litigation cases are managed from claims setup and investigation through lien resolution with complete documentation and strict adherence to timelines.

  • Oversee claim initiation, medical record and billing retrieval, care management, demand preparation, and lien resolution processes.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational speed, accuracy, and consistency.

  • Uphold the firm’s quality standards in every aspect of documentation, communication, and client interaction.

Client & Partner Coordination

  • Support case managers in managing client communication, ensuring empathy, clarity, and responsiveness.

  • Resolve escalated issues related to treatment, insurance communication, or liens.

  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and external providers to ensure cases are well-prepared for negotiation and resolution.

Client & Partner Coordination

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and data to help build and refine our industry-leading tools and systems

What we look for

  • Have 10+ years of experience in personal injury legal operations, case management, or insurance claims, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Excel at managing teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments with strong attention to detail.

  • Are highly proficient with technology and comfortable working in an AI-forward environment, leveraging digital tools to drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in daily operations.

  • Are a proactive leader who motivates and holds your team accountable to high standards.

  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with clients, team members, and firm leadership.

  • Have strong organizational, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.

  • Thrive in an on-site leadership role, maintaining a visible presence to guide and support your team daily.
