We are excited to be hiring our first paralegal to join our legal team in London. This is a unique opportunity to join a rewarding, fast growing company at an exciting stage of its journey. As the sole paralegal, you'll work across a diverse range of legal workstreams, reporting directly to the Head of Legal in London. From day one, you'll be expected to roll up your sleeves and dive into meaningful legal work that directly impacts the business.
This role requires office attendance two days per week at our London office, offering you the perfect balance of collaborative in person work and flexibility.
The impact you will have:
As our first paralegal, you will have direct impact on the company's trajectory and growth. You'll be directly involved in workstreams that you get to see through from start to finish, giving you real ownership and visibility of outcomes. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone passionate about the in-house world who is keen to gain direct exposure to the business, work closely with cross functional teams and see firsthand how legal enables commercial success.
What you will do:
Own the NDA process end-to-end, including drafting, negotiating, tracking and managing our NDA workflow.
Support lawyers with customer contract negotiations, primarily SaaS contracts and data sharing agreements, including document review, redlining, and coordinating execution.
Provide broad paralegal support across the legal team on a wide range of legal work, e.g. implementing policies.
Help develop and refine legal processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability as we grow.

Maintain and update legal templates, playbooks, and knowledge management resources.

Our ideal candidate has:
Worked as a paralegal or have supported a legal team in other ways, whether in private practice or in-house.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
Are comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.-
Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
Bonus Points for:
Prior in-house experience.
Familiarity with legal tech tools such as contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms or other legal workflow tools.
An interest in cryptocurrency.
