Overview

The Senior Technical Product Manager - Data Products & Product Analytics is a pivotal role within the Product team, reporting directly to the VP, Product. The Product Team is responsible for defining the product vision and strategy, conducting market research, and prioritizing innovation roadmaps based on customer needs and business goals. They collaborate closely with customers, subject matter experts, technology, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure product releases deliver maximum value to users, customers, and the company.

The Senior Technical Product Manager - Data Products & Product Analytics is responsible for defining and delivering the data insights that demonstrate the value we create for our customers and inform product development investments. They will drive the entire product development lifecycle for our data products, from strategic vision to market launch, ensuring we provide valuable, actionable intelligence to all stakeholders. They will also partner with the rest of the Product team to ensure we are able to generate the insights into how our products are performing and where we have opportunities to improve.

Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate the near- and long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for all customer-facing insights and product analytics, aligning with overall company goals and market needs.
  • Conduct in-depth research, engage with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering), and analyze market trends to gather, synthesize, and prioritize product requirements for data products and analytical features.
  • Drive, in close partnership with the Data team, the end-to-end Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) for data products, including discovery, definition, development, testing, launch, and post-launch iteration.
  • Facilitate the development of robust and scalable data products, working closely with data engineering, business intelligence, and core engineering teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and utility.
  • Lead the evolution and enhancement of our customer-facing insights product, seamlessly integrated into our web application. This includes defining new features, improving existing ones, and ensuring a compelling user experience for our health system clients to access their performance data.
  • Define and implement strategies for collecting, analyzing, and leveraging product data to inform product decisions, identify areas for improvement, and understand user behavior within our platform.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Data Intelligence, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies in business intelligence, analytics, and AI to identify new opportunities and inform product strategy.
  • Effectively communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in product management, with a strong focus on data products, business intelligence, or analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience owning the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
  • Proven track record of defining and delivering successful data-driven products, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Pendo) and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and product requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
The estimated hiring range for this role is $135,500 - $165,000 (plus applicable bonus/plus equity). This hiring range could vary by region based upon local market data. Final salary is ultimately decided upon taking into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to: skills and experience, licensure and certifications, education, specific location and dynamic market data.
