The Opioid Epidemic is a public health crisis with a highly effective but underutilized clinical intervention - millions of Americans are physically dependent on Opioids but only 10% of those likely to have OUD actually access treatment. Bicycle Health addresses this gap by maximizing accessibility, affordability, and overall quality of care by enabling highly qualified clinicians to reach patients broadly and efficiently through our online platform.

The Licensing Specialist is responsible for handling all aspects of licensing for our clinicians according to state compliance and insurance standards. This role is a critical part of Bicycle Health’s operations and essential to our ability to onboard providers, as well as our ability to expand our services to new geographical areas.

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full time (40 hrs) - M-F shift

Target Pay Range: $25.48 - $29.32 per hour - Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

You can expect to:

  • Building an efficient licensing process to accommodate licensing across multiple states, coordinating between providers, medical boards and government agencies, and collecting provider credentialing and licensing materials.
  • Collaborating with our credentialing team to ensure all provider licensing requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Tracking and completing license renewal, DEA, CSR and CME requirements in the system.
  • Coordinating with providers to complete licensing applications.
  • Resolving licensing or credentialing issues by communicating effectively with providers.
  • Tactically manage coordination with medical boards to ensure the licensing process continues to proceed smoothly.
  • Managing provider documentation and organizing materials to effectively cross license providers in multiple states.
  • Keep our licenses and statuses organized - everyone across the Operations and Clinical teams in Bicycle Health will know where licenses stand at any given time.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualities we're looking for:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in licensing
  • You’re a self-starter. You like to organize processes and improve on workflows that already exist because there’s always an opportunity for efficiency.
  • An impeccable attention to detail. You are able to catch idiosyncrasies in data or workflows quickly. You document processes in a concise but thorough manner.
  • Independence and scrappy attitude. You’re a problem solver with a positive and ‘get the job done’ mentality. You are able to run with a task or problem without heavy hand holding.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills. You know what to prioritize and when. You naturally project manage and never let the ball drop. You love organizing in Google sheets and understand how it works.
  • Collaborative. You love working with lots of different kinds of people and are a relationship builder at heart. You are not afraid to receive feedback and provide constructive feedback with those who work with you.
  • Strong at synthesizing information. You can distill easy-to-understand takeaways and next steps. You’re able to diagnose problems, see patterns, and come up with targeted solutions.
  • Consistent access to a private work environment with high speed internet and professionally appropriate surroundings for frequent video conferencing and a workstation setup conducive to remote work needs.

This is a full-time (40hrs per week) remote position.
