The Opioid Epidemic is a public health crisis with a highly effective but underutilized clinical intervention - millions of Americans are physically dependent on Opioids but only 10% of those likely to have OUD actually access treatment. Bicycle Health addresses this gap by maximizing accessibility, affordability, and overall quality of care by enabling highly qualified clinicians to reach patients broadly and efficiently through our online platform.

The Therapist provides counseling and psychotherapy services including group and one on one sessions to patients offered via telehealth, and provides mental health and substance use care coordination.

    • Complete biopsychosocial assessment to determine patient's mental health and substance use disorder needs and strengths.
    • Address patients' concerns particularly during early treatment and periods of instability, track treatment response, and answer questions related to the treatment process.
    • Provide brief individual and/or group-based treatment using evidence-based interventions such as motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, problem-solving treatment and CBT.
    • Create individualized treatment plans together with patients using a strengths-based approach to establish goals for therapy as well as objectives to achieve those goals.
    • Utilize standardized, evidence-based clinical measures to assess patients' symptoms and response to treatment.

    • Systematically track treatment response and clinical outcomes.
    • Participate in biweekly multidisciplinary regional team meetings and behavioral health team meetings/case consultations.
