Apostrophe is an online dermatology service that provides FDA approved and clinically tested medications to patients. Here at Apostrophe, we value our patients’ accessibility to the care that they deserve. We are looking for a talented Pharmacy Technician to join our team and assist our Pharmacist in Charge in managing our oral and topical dermatology medications.

Who you are

We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician that will process and fill prescriptions. You will undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. As a pharmacy technician you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers.

Responsibilities

• Manages pharmacy inventory.
• Prepares, fills, and labels orders and dispensed medications under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist (pulls prepackaged medication or obtains stock containers).
• Prepackages oral, and external medications using various packaging and labeling equipment.
• Picks up/receives physician orders and reviews for completeness; determines availability of drug formularies; obtains patient information on prescriptions and maintain the Pharmacy Patient Medication Profiles.
• Interprets physician’s directions and types prescription labels.
• Orders medication and pharmaceutical supplies under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
• Receives and verifies delivered orders; restocks medication shelves and supply bins; rotates and removes outdated drugs; maintains a clean working environment including Pharmacy equipment and work counters; maintains stock records.

Requirements

Required current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Arizona.
Strong communication skills and can work independently.
Full Time Role - Wednesday - Saturday, 10hr shifts.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
